About the Journal
The READS – Scientific Initiation Journal in Business Administration is an open-access academic journal dedicated to the dissemination of original research from undergraduate research and postgraduate specialization programs (Brazil’s “lato sensu”). Its purpose is to encourage scientific production from the very first steps of the academic journey, welcoming manuscripts from undergraduate and postgraduate specialization students.
The journal is published on a rolling basis and accepts unpublished manuscripts in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
The name READS evokes both the act of reading — essential to scientific training — and the principles that guide its editorial mission: Research, Education, Advancement, Development, and Science. These pillars reinforce the journal’s commitment to the training of new researchers, the democratization of knowledge, and academic innovation.
While Business Administration is the journal’s core field, READS fosters an environment open to interdisciplinary approaches, encouraging research that establishes connections between management and other areas of knowledge. In this way, the journal seeks to understand complex organizational phenomena and provide contributions that strengthen the integration of theory, practice, and social transformation.
READS adopts a double-blind peer review process, following strict ethical and editorial standards. It publishes original articles — theoretical, empirical, and methodological — as well as reviews that broaden the dialogue between academia, organizations, and society.
Completely free of charge, the journal does not require submission, review, or publication fees, reaffirming its commitment to open science, the democratization of knowledge, and academic excellence.
