Focus and Scope

The READS – Scientific Initiation Journal in Business Administration is an open-access journal dedicated to the dissemination of research in the field of Business Administration, especially focused on undergraduate research and postgraduate specialization programs (Brazil’s “lato sensu”). Its purpose is to foster the training of new researchers and promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge.

The journal’s central focus is Business Administration, encompassing its theoretical, practical, and social dimensions. However, it recognizes that administrative phenomena transcend the boundaries of a single discipline and therefore encourages research that establishes dialogue with different fields of knowledge, offering new perspectives on management and organizations.

The scope values studies that combine theoretical consistency and practical relevance, whether applied analyses, literature reviews, case studies, or experience reports. It especially encourages works that provide innovative contributions and critical reflections on the contemporary challenges of organizations and society.

With a double-blind peer review process, transparent editorial practices, and a strong commitment to open science principles, READS seeks to establish itself as a reference journal with national and international visibility. Its mission is to promote scientific debate, support academic progress, and disseminate science as an instrument for organizational and social development.
