Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit articles to READS – Scientific Initiation Journal in Business Administration. All submissions undergo an initial editorial review to check compliance with the journal’s scope and basic requirements. Approved manuscripts proceed to the double-blind peer review process.

Authors must ensure that:

  • the manuscript is original and not under review by another journal;
  • the use of materials (images, documents, data) has proper authorization;
  • all co-authors are aware of and agree with the submission;
  • when applicable, the research has been approved by an ethics committee.

Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum quality standards or fail to follow the journal’s guidelines may be returned for corrections or rejected.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting your article, please confirm that:

1 - The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere.

2 - The file submitted for review is fully anonymized (no author names or institutions, including in document properties).

3 - Author information (name, affiliation, ORCID, email, contributions) has been provided in the OJS system, but not in the submitted file.

4 - The article meets the required length (3,500–6,500 words, including references).

5 - The file is in Word format (.docx).

6 - The text follows the journal’s formatting rules (Arial 12, single spacing, correct margins).

7 - Figures and tables are included within the text, not as appendices.

8 - URLs have been provided in references where available.

9 - Citations, references, tables, and figures follow APA – American Psychological Association (7th edition) guidelines.

10 - Ensure that the use of language models (Large Language Models – LLMs, such as ChatGPT) or generative artificial intelligence has been properly disclosed, when applicable, in accordance with the journal’s policy.

By submitting a manuscript to READS, authors agree that:

  • The copyright of accepted papers is transferred to the journal, with publication under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0 International), which allows use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original authorship and source are properly credited.
  • Authors retain the right to republish the work in other formats (books, chapters, collections), provided that the original publication in READS is acknowledged.
  • The opinions and concepts expressed in the articles are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the position of the journal or its editors.
